Help For Dogs Who Struggle To Feel Safe or Settled
Living with an anxious dog can feel exhausting, confusing, and heartbreaking.
Your dog may be easily overwhelmed, nervous around specific triggers, or unsure how to handle new things, new people, new dogs, or new places. Their triggers might be anything from loud noises, unfamiliar objects, visitors, and car rides to walks, handling, other animals, or changes in routine.
Some anxious dogs hide, freeze, bark, cling, pace, or panic. Others seem mostly fine until something changes — and then they have a hard time staying emotionally regulated, relaxed, and able to recover.
Fearless Foundations is a monthly virtual coaching membership designed to help anxious, nervous, and fearful dogs build more calm, confidence, independence, and emotional stability from home.
Instead of forcing your dog through situations they are not ready for, we focus on helping them feel safer, recover faster, and handle daily life with more confidence.
You get private coaching, access to the Fearless Foundations training library, and text support between sessions so you are not left guessing what to do next.
Does this sound like your dog?

Fearless Foundations is designed for dogs who need help feeling safer, building confidence, and learning how to handle life with more calm and stability.
A More Complete Approach to Helping Anxious Dogs
Helping an anxious dog is rarely as simple as just “working on the anxiety.”
Fearless Foundations looks at the whole dog — their daily life, triggers, fulfillment, coping skills, relaxation habits, and the way you respond when they become overwhelmed.
Depending on your dog, we may work on:
- Understanding the real issue: identifying what your dog is actually struggling with, what their triggers are, and where the behavior is likely coming from.
- Fulfillment, structure, and daily life: making sure your dog is fulfilled in the ways they actually need — mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally — while also building the kind of structure and routine that helps them feel more secure, settled, and regulated.
- Reading your dog accurately: learning when your dog is uncertain, overwhelmed, escalating, recovering, avoiding, seeking support, or ready for a challenge.
- Impulse control and problem-solving: helping your dog learn to pause, think, and make better, more confident choices in stressful or intense situations.
- Relaxation and emotional regulation: building habits that help your dog settle, recover faster, and stay more regulated over time.
- Confidence around real-life triggers: working through things like loud noises, unfamiliar objects, visitors, new places, handling, car rides, walks, other dogs, or changes in routine.
Rather than only managing symptoms or avoiding triggers, the goal is to help your dog truly become more fulfilled, more confident, more relaxed, and more capable of handling normal life.
How the Fearless Foundations Membership Works
Fearless Foundations is a monthly virtual coaching membership for anxious, nervous, and fearful dogs.
Rather than working through a rigid course by yourself, you get ongoing support from me while using the video library as a resource along the way.
Each month includes:
- Two private virtual coaching sessions with me
- Access to the Fearless Foundations video library while you are enrolled
- Unlimited text support for training questions, updates, and troubleshooting
- Personalized homework based on your dog’s specific struggles
- Help with real-life issues as they come up, instead of only following a preset curriculum
The video library gives you structure.
The private sessions help us apply the training to your actual dog.
The text support gives you help between sessions so you are not stuck guessing when questions come up.
Program Investment
Fearless Foundations starts at $265/month.
This includes two private virtual coaching sessions per month, access to the Fearless Foundations training library while enrolled, and unlimited text support for training questions, updates, and troubleshooting.
Most owners should plan on working consistently for at least 8–12 weeks. Anxious dogs usually need time, structure, and repetition to build real confidence, better coping skills, and improved emotional regulation.
Who Fearless Foundations Is For
Fearless Foundations may be a good fit if:
Your dog is anxious, nervous, fearful, insecure, or easily overwhelmed
You want a clearer plan instead of trying random tips
You are willing to practice between sessions
You want help understanding what is actually driving your dog’s behavior
You want support with real-life issues as they come up
You are ready to help your dog build confidence, relaxation, independence, and better coping skills over time
You want coaching and feedback, not just a list of exercises
This program is especially helpful for owners who feel like their dog needs more than basic training, but who also want a realistic plan they can follow from home.
Who This Program Is Not For
Fearless Foundations may not be the right fit if:
Your main issue is intense leash reactivity or aggression toward people or dogs
Your dog has a serious bite history
Your dog is difficult or unsafe for you to physically control
You are looking for a quick one-session fix
You are not willing/able to practice between sessions
You only want basic obedience commands
Some fearful dogs may bark, growl, or react when they feel scared or overwhelmed. That does not automatically rule them out.
But if the primary issue is high-intensity reactivity, aggression, or a dog who is unsafe to manage, in-person training is usually the better starting point.
Why virtual coaching works so well for anxious dogs
Anxious and fearful dogs often do best when they can start learning in their own home. For many nervous dogs, a training facility, group class, or even a new trainer coming into the home can be too much too soon.
But the biggest reason virtual coaching works is this: you are the person your dog has to learn from.
Long-term progress comes from what happens in normal daily life — how your dog is guided through stress, helped through triggers, taught to settle, given structure, and supported through the moments that matter.
Fearless Foundations teaches you how to become that person for your dog.
Instead of your dog only learning how to respond to a trainer, they learn how to feel safer, think more clearly, and work through life with you.
That is what makes the training practical, realistic, and easier to maintain.

About Alex
I’m Alex Peacock, owner of Alex’s Dog Training.
I specialize in helping anxious, nervous, fearful, and emotionally sensitive dogs become calmer, more confident, and easier to live with.
I became especially interested in anxious dogs because I kept seeing owners who felt stuck. They had been told to manage the behavior, avoid the triggers, try medication, or work through generic training exercises — but they still did not feel like they truly understood what was going on with their dog.
I believe there is often more transformation and true behavioral improvement available for these dogs than people realize. My goal is to help you and your dog build the skills, structure, and confidence needed to reach that potential.
My approach is about looking at the whole dog: their daily structure, fulfillment, triggers, impulse control, relaxation habits, emotional regulation, and the way their owner guides them through stress.
Fearless Foundations was created for owners who feel like their dog needs more than generic advice. The goal is to give you a realistic plan, ongoing support, and a better understanding of how to help your dog through normal life.

Frequently Asked Questions About Virtual anxiety Training
Q1: Can virtual training really help an anxious or fearful dog?
Yes. For many anxious dogs, virtual training works very well because we can start in the environment where they are most comfortable and where many of the daily issues actually happen.
Just as importantly, virtual coaching teaches you how to guide your dog through the moments that matter in normal life.
Q2: Is this for aggressive or highly reactive dogs?
Not usually. Some anxious dogs may bark, growl, or react when scared, but this program is not the best fit for dogs whose main issue is intense aggression, serious bite history, or unsafe leash reactivity. Those cases usually need in-person support.
Q3: What kinds of anxiety or fear can this help with?
Fearless Foundations is designed for dogs who are easily overwhelmed, nervous around specific triggers, uncomfortable with new places or new situations, sensitive to changes in routine, slow to recover after stress, or unable to stay relaxed and emotionally regulated.
This may include struggles with visitors, sounds, unfamiliar objects, handling, walks, car rides, vet or grooming visits, new people, other dogs, or general confidence in everyday life.
Q4: How much does this program cost?
Fearless Foundations starts at $265/month. This includes two private virtual coaching sessions per month, access to the training library while enrolled, and unlimited text support for training questions, updates, and troubleshooting.
Most clients can expect to need 8-12 weeks total, but we can give you a much better idea in our free consultation call once we know more about your dog’s behavior and situation.
Q5: Will my dog need medication?
Medication decisions should always be made in consultation with your veterinarian. Some dogs improve through behavior training alone, while others may benefit from additional support depending on the severity of the anxiety.
Q6: What Happens After I Apply For A Consultation?
We’ll schedule a free consultation to talk through your dog’s behavior, your goals, and whether the program makes sense for your situation. If it seems like a good fit, I’ll explain how the membership works and what the next steps would look like.
Start With a Free Consultation

We’ll schedule a free consultation to talk through your dog’s behavior, your goals, what you’ve already tried, and what the best next step may look like.
If it seems like a good fit, I’ll explain how the membership works, what’s included, and how we would begin helping your dog build more calm, confidence, and emotional regulation from home.
